Payne girlsTreatment varies among patients depending on age and complexity of treatment, but generally ranges from one to three years. Early, interceptive treatment can last as few as six to eight months. Once we do a comprehensive examination to determine your child’s growth rate and severity of problems, we can provide a better estimate. Patient cooperation also helps to ensure treatment is completed on time. Patients should follow the instructions provided to them by Dr. Cantrell if rubber bands or headgear is to be worn. We will discuss all of this information in further detail during your appointment.
